The Impelementasi Kurikulum Berbasis Cinta dalam Pembentukan Karakter Anak Usia Dini di PAUD Al Fatih

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of a love-based curriculum in early childhood education at PAUD Al-Fatih and its implications for children's character development. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The subjects of the study include teachers and students involved in the learning process. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source and method triangulation. The results indicate that the implementation of a love-based curriculum emphasizing values such as empathy, compassion, care, and positive interaction can improve children's socio-emotional abilities, including cooperation, emotional regulation, and self-confidence. Strengthening strategies are carried out through play-based activities, storytelling methods, teacher modeling, and the creation of a supportive learning environment. In addition, the role of the school environment and parental involvement significantly contributes to the success of the curriculum implementation. Despite challenges such as differences in family backgrounds and limited learning time, the love-based curriculum has a positive impact on holistic character development. Therefore, a love-based curriculum can be considered an effective approach to fostering optimal character development in early childhood.
