Abstract

This research examines the management of facilities and infrastructure in Early Childhood Education (ECE) institutions to enhance the quality of educational services. Many ECE centers, especially in rural areas, lack adequate facilities due to limited budgets, weak planning, and low managerial capacity. This study investigates the planning, management, and evaluation of ECE facilities and infrastructure. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, using data from literature reviews and analysis of relevant documents.  Findings highlight the need for improved, systematic, data-driven planning and the involvement of all stakeholders. Procurement and utilization of resources must be efficient and relevant to children's development.  Effective maintenance, including preventive maintenance and technology integration, is crucial. Regular evaluation is essential for measuring effectiveness and driving continuous improvement. The research concludes that effective and efficient facility and infrastructure management is vital for improving the quality of ECE services. Stakeholder engagement, thorough planning, and technology utilization are key to success. Innovative strategies are needed to address challenges in remote areas and ensure equitable access to quality ECE facilities and infrastructure.
