Abstract
This study aims to describe the implementation of learning to read the Koran for children carried out by students participating in KUKERTA Islamic High School (STAI) Bumi Silampari Lubuklinggau in Tugu Perfect Village, Muara Kelingi District, Musi Rawas Regency. The results of the study showed that the implementation of teaching and learning to read the Koran in Tugu Perfect Village by students was carried out well and was quite successful. The learning results show that children's ability to read the Koran is very diverse because their level of ability is different. Supporting factors in the form of high enthusiasm from KUKERTA participating students and children participating in learning as well as support from the local community. The support shown by village officials and the community was active and the response given by the community to the KUKERTA participating students was very positive.
